We thank you for your interest in joining The Power MOB!
The Power MOB strives to maintain a close community of mom business owners. We are a close knit, collaborative, non-sales environment. We support one another, offer and seek advice, promote each other's businesses, and help each other out in times of need, both with business and family life assistance. Membership to The Power MOB enables mom business owners access to tools that are both helpful to the growth of their business as well as to their own personal growth. We are women, we are mothers, we are business owners, and together, we are changing the way the world does business. Join us!
Membership Guidelines
To qualify for membership, applicants must:
- legally be part-owner of a business that is at least 50% mom-owned OR be in the process of launching a new business
- be a mother of a child or children of any age(s)
- adhere to high ethical and legal business standards
- understand and agree to our strict no-recruiting policy
By submitting application for membership, all individuals agree to adhere to our strict No Recruitment policy. This policy states that any member that is part of a multi-level marketing/relationship-based marketing company absolutely cannot use their membership to recruit fellow members, their friends or family into their MLM company. Our organization is meant to foster support for moms who already own their own business and/or are in the process of launching a business, and therefore any attempts of recruitment by members participating in MLM companies are deemed inappropriate. Violation of this policy will result in termination of membership.
We reserve the right to refuse membership to any applicant for any reason. In order to ensure we preserve the mission of our community, we constantly review our membership policies to best serve our members.

Read below for some of the benefits of annual membership. Please note that it may take 5 to 10 business days for your application to be reviewed and approved or denied. Should your application be denied, your application fee will be refunded to you within 10 business days from the date we send you notification of our application decision.

Executive Membership: $300/year (as of Dec 19, 2009)

Group Membership: $150/year per owner
The Group Membership level is for companies that are Partnerships or Corporations with more than one legal business owner. All applicants must be deemed as legal owners and each applicant must also be a mother. All members of the Group Membership company automatically receive all of the benefits above, plus a logo listing per member in the Member Directory, for just $150 per year -- that covers the Group Administrator owner plus up to two (2) additional legal owners.

At-Large Membership: $75/year (must live 90 miles or more outside of Portland, OR for this level)
For mom business owners who live 90+ miles outside of Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, Washington city limits
