Question:

I am a working mother, but do not own my own business. May I join?

Answer:

If you are actively working on or are in the beginning stages of working on launching your own business, then yes, you are welcome to apply for membership. We have many members who work part-time or full-time outside of the home while they are working on developing their own companies. If you do not have plans to own your own business, then The Power Mob is likely not right for you. Our focus is on supporting mothers who own their own business(es), and the very specific issues that come with being mom business owners.

Question:	What type of businesses are allowed in Mamapreneurs, Inc.?
Answer:	All businesses in good community standing are most welcome! Whether you work from home or whether you own a multi-million dollar company with ten locations and thousands of employees, you ARE a mom business owner! The Power MOB works to serve the individual moms who own businesses, versus putting a focus on the type of business.

Question:	Can I attend events and meetings without joining The Power MOB?
Answer:	Yes! We would love for fellow mom business owners and mothers thinking about launching a business to join us at our monthly meetings, workshops and special events to learn more about the organization and find out if it's a good fit. Non-members may attend two meetings/events without joining; after that point we do require you become a member before attending any further meetings or events.

Question:	My kids are all grown up. May I still join?
Answer:	Absolutely! No matter what your age, or how old your kids are, if you own a business and you are a mother, you are most welcome to join The Power MOB. Our members currently range in age of 25 to 65 years old, with children of our members ranging in age from newborn to 35.

Question:	I do own a business, but currently it is not active. May I still be a member?
Answer:	Yes! If you are a mother and own a business of any industry, any size, and any stage, whether you are working at your business 2 hours a week every other week or 60 hours a week, we support you and would welcome your application.
