As a small business owner, you know the challenging juggle of managing finances, business strategy, and daily work tasks. Regardless of whether you are a new business or a seasoned business owner, it's easy to feel stuck, to find yourself not moving forward no matter what you do, to long for new ideas to jump start you and get you moving forward again. Knowing how to overcome obstacles and keep yourself moving forward is one of the most important traits of a successful business owner. From a financial standpoint, your personal finances are closely tied to how successfully you manage your business finances. But even if business is booming and your company is incredibly well managed (of course!), this does not mean that your personal financial picture will always be so rosy. This meeting is your opportunity to hear practical financial and business strategy tips to help keep you on track for the rest of 2010 and beyond.

    ABOUT THE POWER MOB MEETINGS
At The Power MOB monthly meetings, held the last Tuesday of each month, we bring you a panel of industry experts who share valuable business advice, experience and insight in moderated Q & A format. We tackle a different business topic that tends to be universal among mom business owners regardless of type of business each month. We open our monthly meetings up to a larger audience than our more targeted, interactive hands-on monthly workshops to allow for greater range in open discussion for our panelists and also for expanded conversational networking opportunities after the Q & A portion of the meeting.

    QUARTERLY COFFEE CHAT
We all network in different ways, and join this organization for different reasons. In addition to our monthly meetings and workshops, The Power MOB offers quarterly social events such as Mama Mixers, Playdates and Coffee Chats. This way, members are afforded a wide array of opportunities to grow businesses while expanding professional and personal networks.

Once each quarter, a small group of Power MOB members are chosen at random to meet over coffee, converse, share ideas, and get to know one other - and our businesses & family situations - in a comfy, intimate group setting. Unlike our meetings and workshops, the coffee chats are not focused on one particular business/personal growth topic; these are casual gatherings where the only goal is to meet fellow mom entrepreneurs and sprout new business and personal relationships. The Power MOB staff choose individuals who represent a variety of industries, family life settings, and other varying perspectives in order to encourage individuals to break out of comfort zones and meet new mom entrepreneurs with whom they might not otherwise engage.
